Commission: Maternal Vacation Gone Wrong (Finale)
“Why won’t you come out, kid?” Frieda begged quietly to her now-impossibly tight belly as the 43rd week of her pregnancy approaches, her hands running across the taut fabric on her only fitting garment that she brought along with her, a loose blue nightdress, as Renee and Jane were with her to assist her in case she goes into labor, “Please, you oughta come out soon, or else you might get too big.” Frieda Vicente wears her face that of anxious apprehension as she realizes that if she doesn’t get her baby out of her womb soon that she might have to seek urgent medical attention once they’re evacuated from the eponymous Lonesome Gorge Hotel and that is if they’ll be able to be evacuated in time; after all, she had read a bit on overdue pregnancies since she passed her due date 3 weeks ago from Renee’s pregnancy health book and thought that holding in a pregnancy longer than 3 weeks past the due date would have some serious consequences in regards of the fetus being not able to leave
